Impact Assessment

Greenhouse Gas

We use structured processes  to consider the impacts of operational processes and management decision-making on the environmental impact of the clients we work with. From comprehensive Greenhouse Gas emissions and energy audits, to assessing operational water consumption and determining waste streams, our team works ‘hand in glove’ with corporates seeking to understand the overall influence their presence has on the environment.

We assess organisational operations  and provide customised recommendations focused on the mitigation of negative environmental impacts. All our assessments follow internationally recognised standards developed by the leading standards bodies in the respective fields.

We are the only Sri Lankan partner to the Water Footprint Network, and we use their manual and methodologies as an invaluable guide.  We  believe that water will in the near future be  one of the most valuable substances on the planet and as such  we should make all efforts to measure, mange and mitigate our use of fresh water.

From auditing the day to day use of water in industrial settings in search of more efficiencies, to designing  and promoting recycling and reuse projects, to tracking a comprehensive corporate water footprint to guiding organizations down the path toward achieving  water neutrality , our team brings a range of  invaluable experiences to the table.

Plastic and Waste

A waste audit is a physical analysis of waste composition to provide a detailed understanding of problems and to identify potential reduction opportunities. The Solid Waste Audit is carried out following the UNIDO/UNEP methodology in conducting Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP) assessments. It focuses on a company's operational processes in order to identify areas where resource consumption and waste generation can be reduced.

We also use the Lifecycle Analysis approach to comprehensively track the use of plastic in a product, to enable companies to better develop suitable alternatives, and to use a system of 'Plastic Offsets' or Plastic Credits to compensate for the unavoidable use of plastic.
