Traffi Safe Ltd, based in the UK, are hand protection specialists and industry-leading providers of cut resistant work gloves. They are the original inventors of the 3-colour TraffiSystem and continue to lead the industry through their customer-centric approach and dedication to delivering ‘Best in Class‘ products. They are also an affiliate of the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) and their coveted Registered Safety Supplier Scheme (RSSS).
THE CCC SOLUTIONS
Traffi has also taken great steps in order to certify themselves as a Carbon Neutral company. To obtain this certification, Traffi commenced a comprehensive GHG Assessment of the operations of their organisation. CCC worked with Traffi to assess and quantify the emissions from their operations, which included (but were not limited to) production, packaging, sea freight, air freight, staff mileage, energy usage, and delivery mileage.
After calculating their annual negative impact (carbon footprint) on the environment, Traffi supported a registered Renewable Energy Project in Sri Lanka to offset their operational emissions, thereby becoming a CarbonNeutral® company.

THE RESULTS
An overall reduction of emissions of 44% from the baseline was recorded during the 4-year period. The largest component, Category 3, was reduced by 43%, and Category 1 by 83%.
