As the Licensee of FedEx and TNT in Sri Lanka, Mountain Hawk Express (MHE) has been playing a game-changing role in the country for the past 31 years. MHE was Sri Lanka's FIRST transportation and logistics services provider to receive the CarbonConscious® certification, and is a leader in taking the country's logistics industry towards a carbon neutral future. For this to be possible, they called upon the services of CCC to monitor and manage their carbon footprint for 3 consecutive years.

THE CCC SOLUTIONS

Comprehensive annual assessments were done each year taking into consideration all 3 Scopes, where the team assessed the emissions sources and made necessary recommendations for MHE to reduce their carbon footprint. Notable mentions such as forming a Green Team and providing MHE with a Carbon Management Plan helped reduce their overall emissions. Due to the Key Performance Indicators developed by CCC, they were able to identify where the company stands with its GHG management system and highlight any areas that needed improvement and development.
